Noonay ki Barfi Recipe


Milk powder (2 cup)

Condensed milk (1 cup)

Full cream (1 cup)

Fresh milk (1 cup)

Sugar (1/2 cup)

Rose water (few drops)

Cardamom powder (2 table spoon)

Almonds (optional)

Walnuts (optional)

Coconut powder (optional)


In a pan add fresh milk and full cream. Keep stirring till the mixture is boiled. Once it is boiled add condensed milk and milk powder. Milk powder might form lumps, so keep stirring the mixture till it is smooth and thick just like a paste.

Add sugar to the mixture and increase the flame from medium to medium high. Keep stirring the mixture, the sugar will melt and the mixture will be moist.

Keep stirring the mixture and add cardamom powder and rose water. Once you reach the desired consistency, dish it out on a greased pan.

Spread the mixture in a thick layer on the pan, once it cools down to the room temperature cut it into small cubes and it is ready to be served.
