Khanpuri Pairy Recipe
Milk powder (1 cup)
Condensed milk (1/2 cup)
Saffron (1 tea spoon)
Fresh milk (2-3 tbsp.)
Cardamom powder (1/4 tea spoon)
Butter (15-20 grams)
Walnut crushed (3-4 table spoons)
Coconut powder (3-4 table spoons)
Almond (3-4 table spoons)
Pistachios (3-4 table spoons)
Microwave 3 table spoon of fresh milk for one minute. Add one teaspoon of saffron and mix it properly until the color is changed.
Heat a non-stick pan on medium flame, add 20 grams of butter and let it melt. Once the butter is in liquid form add 1 cup of milk powder and mix it.
Pour half cup of condensed milk into the mixture of powder milk and butter, keep stirring the mixture. Reduce the flame to medium low.
The texture will change into a thick creamy and sticky substance now is the time to add saffron milk. Keep stirring, the liquid part will evaporate leaving thick sticky substance behind; the texture will be like a dough.
Now, add cardamom powder into the mixture and give it a final mix. In a bowl mix crushed almond, pistachio, almond and coconut.
Dish it out and let it cool. Once it is at room temperature take a small chuck and makes a ball. Now roll this ball in coconut powder and mixture of walnut, almond and crushed pistachio.
