Kaju Barfi by Bhashani Sweets Recipe
Cashews (1/2 kg)
Sugar (1/2 kg)
Oil (few drops)
Water or milk (1 cup)
Coconut powder (3-4 tbsp)
Almonds crushed (3-4 tbsp.)
Pistachios crushed (3-4 tbsp.)
Cashews crushed for garnishing (3-4 tbsp.)
Grind the cashews into fine powder by using a grinder; now take it out in a bowl.
Grind the sugar just like the cashews and mix the both dry ingredient in bowl with the help of a spoon.
Now add water or milk, little by little and kneel the mixture by using your hand, it will turn into dough like material. Milk will make the mixture more smooth whereas, on water will make it hard. You can chose whatever suits you best.
Greece a pan or a tray with oil, dish out the dough on a pan and spread it evenly into a thick layer by using a spoon. Sprinkle the coconut powder, crushed cashews, crushed almonds and pistachios on top.
Let it sit for some time, it will be better to leave it for an hour.
Cut the barfi into slices and serve it according to your taste.
