Amin Ka Khushabi Dhodha Recipe
Full butter milk (1.5 liter)
Sugar (1/2 kg)
Wheat (1/4 kg crushed flakes)
Oil or ghee (1/2 cup)
Pistachio (1/4 kg crushed finely)
Cashew (1/4 kg crushed finely)
Almonds (1/2 cup crushed finely for garnishing)
Walnuts (1/2 cup crushed finely)
Silver paper (for garnishing)
Food color (optional)
In a pan pour the milk and full cream and let it boil on medium heat. Once it is boiled reduce the flame to medium low.
In another pan add oil or ghee and let it heat for 2 minutes. Add wheat flakes and let is turn light golden brown. Make sure the flame is low, high flame may burn the flakes too early.
Add boiled milk into the mixture and let it boil on medium low heat. When it is boiled add the sugar and Keep stirring, this will turn the milk into thick paste and sugar to caramelize properly. Add food color to give perfect color, this is optional but this gives perfect texture just like original.
Now add pistachios, cashews, almonds and walnuts into the mixture. Mix it well and dish it out in a flat plate or dish.
With a spoon spread it evenly and add silver paper for decor. Cut it into small cubes and it is ready to be served.
