Soak the split gram in warm water overnight and once they are soft you can start the process, in case it is not soft enough you can add baking soda.
In a pot pour in 3 cups of water and add split gram, ginger garlic paste, tomato, onion, green chilies, salt, whole spice powder, 4 table spoon of oil, red chili powder and coriander powder.
Once it is perfectly cooked and the water is dry, it is ready to be mashed into thick paste. You can use grinder or chopper if you want. Once it is chopped add green coriander and add an egg. Mix it well till it is soft paste. Shape this mixture into thick patties.
In a bowl whisk an egg and make sure it is fluffy, dip the patties into the egg and fry it from both sides. Prepare an omelet with the remaining egg. You can add a pinch of salt and paprika if you want or you can add two table spoon of chopped onion and tomato in the egg mixture but it is totally optional.
In a pan add few drops of oil and toast the burger bun from both side till it is golden brown. Now start assembling the burger. Make a thick layer of ketchup and mayonnaise at one side and stack the onion, cabbage and tomato on it, now stack the patties and egg omelet and it is ready.
Serve it with ketchup, coleslaw and garlic cream mayo.
