Fresco Dahi Bharay Recipe

Ingredients

Yogurt (1/2 kg)

Salt (1 tablespoon)

Chili powder (1 tablespoon)

Spice mix (2 table spoon)

Potato (1/4 kg)

Onion (1 thinly sliced)

Cucumber (1 thinly sliced)

Tomato (1 thinly sliced)

Cabbage (1/2 thinly sliced)

Green chili (3 table spoon)

Green coriander (3 table spoon chopped)

Mint leaves (optional)

Bharay (4 pieces)

Pakorian (1/2 kg)

Recipe

In a big bowl pour in warm water and then add bharay and pakorian. Then will soak in all the water and become soft just like foam. Keep this soaked for at least two hours in warm water and then drains it by pressing it in between your palms.

Peel the potato and cut them in small cubes. Add these cubes in a pan and fill it with water. Put this on medium heat and let it boil.

Chop all the vegetables and wash it properly. Now place these vegetables in a basket so that there is no water left in the vegetable.

In a big bowl add yogurt and whisk it well with the help of a whisker, now add salt, chili powder and spice mix. Keep this yogurt mixture aside.

In this spicy yogurt mixture add all the chopped vegetables, bharay and pakorian. Finally add boiled potato cubes and sprinkle green coriander on top. Place this in fridge and once they are chilled they are ready to be served.
